Custom Flags With Your Design
A custom flag is a sign that moves, which is why it suits a garden, a stall, a dorm wall or the front of a house where a rigid board would look wrong.

How personalizing works
- Pick the giftAny piece here. Order one, or many of the same.
- Send a logo, photo or noteUpload a file, write us a note, or both.
- Approve your proofWe design it and email you a proof. Nothing is printed until you approve it.
Same logo on every piece: order one or many, no minimum.
Ten formats sit on this shelf and each is a different job: garden banners, house banners, a combined garden and house banner, two double-sided flags that read correctly from either approach, an outdoor flag made with a rod pocket, single pennants, strung triangle party flags and small hand flags sold singly or in packs. Your artwork goes on in full colour — a logo, a photograph, a name, a crest. Production is 1 to 3 days before the flag ships, and one flag is an ordinary order.
Garden, house, hand-held or strung
Garden banners are the small format read from a path. House banners are larger and read from the street. The combined garden and house banner is offered in both sizes from one listing.
Hand flags are small enough to be carried and come as a single or in packs. Triangle party flags arrive strung as a line for decoration rather than as one piece. A single pennant is a wall shape that stays up all year.
Order a double-sided flag where people approach from two directions: a single-sided flag is printed once, so from behind the artwork appears mirrored and any lettering reads backwards.
How the colour goes on
Artwork is printed in full colour with the colour carried into the fabric rather than sitting on top as a separate layer, so there is nothing to crack along a fold. The guide to this method explains the process and its real constraint: the fabric has to be the right kind, which is why this shelf carries no cotton flags.
Each product page states how that format is finished and hung — the outdoor flag, for example, is made with a rod pocket — and no poles, brackets or rope are included, so the flag fits hardware you already have.
The rest of an outdoor set
A flag usually arrives with other things carrying the same artwork. Rigid formats and hanging banners are on custom signs. Stickers put the design on a van or a window, a canvas print moves it indoors, and a blanket is the version people take to the match.
Custom Flags With Your Design — common questions
- Will a custom flag read correctly from both sides?
- Only if you order one of the double-sided formats. A single-sided flag is printed once, so seen from behind the artwork appears mirrored and text reads backwards. Where the flag is approached from two directions, the double-sided version is the one to buy.
- Does a custom flag come with a pole or a bracket?
- No. What ships is the flag itself, finished the way its format is made — the outdoor flag has a rod pocket, for instance. No poles, brackets or rope are included, so it fits hardware you already own. Each product page names the finish for that size.
- What size flag should I order for a garden path?
- A garden banner. The house sizes are made to be read from the street and look out of scale beside a path, and the pennant shapes are indoor pieces. Each listing gives its finished size so you can check before ordering.
- Can a photograph be printed on a flag?
- Yes, in full colour. Bear in mind a flag is almost never flat: a photograph with one clear subject reads far better in motion than a busy group shot, where the movement breaks up the detail you wanted.
- What is the difference between a pennant and a triangle party flag?
- A pennant is one triangular piece, usually hung on a wall as a single item. Triangle party flags arrive strung together as a line for decorating a room or a stall, so you are buying a run of small flags rather than one large shape.
