There is a biodegradable shell, a leather-look case that is engraved rather than printed, and a phone skin that wraps the phone instead of enclosing it. Artwork is printed across the back in full colour from one uploaded file. Production is 1 to 3 days before the case ships.
Slim, tough, magnetic, or something else
Snap and slim shells are one piece of hard casing and keep the phone close to its own outline. Flexi cases have some give. The impact-resistant and tough shells are the heavier end of the shelf, and the magnetic versions of those are built to hold an accessory against the back.
A phone skin is not a case at all — it wraps the phone's own surface, so the phone keeps its exact shape and gains no edge protection.

Printed colour or an engraved mark
Printing puts your photograph or artwork across the back in full colour, edge to edge, and that is how almost every shell here is decorated.
The leather-look case is the exception: it is engraved, and the guide explains why the result is one tone cut into the surface. That renders a monogram, a line drawing or a name beautifully and a photograph as a smudge. Choose engraving when the design is a few marks; choose a printed shell when there is a picture involved.

- Each shell is made for one specific model, which you select on the product page so the openings line up. Shells are not interchangeable between models or generations, so pick the model you own rather than a neighbouring one.
- Which custom phone case protects against a drop?
- The impact-resistant and tough shells, which are built heavier for exactly that. A snap or slim case keeps the phone close to its own shape and protects the back and edges from scuffs. A phone skin wraps the surface and adds no edge protection at all.
- Can a photograph be engraved onto a phone case?
- Not well. Engraving cuts one tone into the surface, so it renders line work, lettering and simple shapes crisply and a photograph as a grey mass. For a photograph, pick one of the printed shells instead.
- What does a magnetic phone case add?
- It is built to hold an accessory against the back of the phone — a mount or a wallet — rather than relying on friction. Both the impact-resistant and the tough shells come in a magnetic version, so you are not trading protection for the feature.
- How sharp does an image need to be for a phone case?
- Sharper than you would expect, because the printed area is small and held close to the eye. Upload the original file rather than a version saved out of a messaging app — a phone case shows every bit of detail the file is missing.
