Four weaves sit on this shelf: combed cotton pima fabric by the yard for soft garments and patchwork quilts, structured cotton twill fabric by the yard for tailored workwear and heavy home textiles, textured faux linen fabric by the yard for drapery and table linens, and spun polyester fabric by the yard for wrinkle-resistant home decor and craft projects. Upload a seamless repeat tile or a full-width layout and your artwork is printed across the bolt face so every yard you roll out on the cutting table carries your exact palette. Prices run $18.99 depending on the style. Choose your weave and yardage to preview your custom printed fabric.

Combed cotton pima, cotton twill, faux linen and spun polyester

The two natural cotton weaves—combed cotton pima and cotton twill—are printed straight onto the woven cotton yarns (woven textile printing guide) so the cloth keeps its natural drape and breathability. The faux linen and spun polyester yardage bond dye deep into the fibres (guide to colour bonded into a coating) for saturated, wash-fast colour.

Custom Printed Fabric by the Yard: Cotton, Twill & Linen — common questions

Which custom printed fabric weave is best for quilting and apparel sewing?
Combed cotton pima fabric by the yard has a smooth, soft hand suited for quilts and lightweight garments, while cotton twill has a heavier diagonal weave ideal for structured sewing and home textiles.
What is the difference between the faux linen fabric and the spun polyester fabric?
Faux linen has a slubbed, woven linen-look texture suited for drapery and table linens, whereas spun polyester has an even, smooth plain weave for general craft and decor sewing.
Is the back side of custom printed fabric by the yard printed as well?
No. Fabric by the yard is printed on the top face only, leaving the reverse side unprinted white or natural.
How should I prepare a repeating pattern file for custom printed fabric?
Upload a high-resolution seamless repeat tile where the top edge matches the bottom edge and the left edge matches the right edge so the motif tiles smoothly across the width of the yardage.
