Which custom coaster material should I pick: ceramic, hardboard or cork?

Ceramic gives a hard tile; hardboard is a pressed board, sold here with a hardboard back or a cork bottom; the cork-backed coaster and the corkwood set bring cork into the piece. Every one takes a full-colour photo or logo, so the choice is about the feel on the table and whether you want a single or a set.

Do custom coasters come as singles, sets or bulk packs?

Will my design sit in exactly the same place on every coaster in a set?

Very nearly, but not to the pixel: placement can move slightly from one coaster to the next. Designs that run past the edge, such as a full photo, a pattern or a coloured background, hide that movement, while a small motif that must sit dead centre shows it.

Will white areas print white on a custom coaster?

No. White in your file means no colour is added, so those areas show the coaster's own surface. On a white coaster that looks white; for a coloured border or background, put that colour into the design itself.
