A chest mark can be embroidered, which is stitched thread and reads as texture; artwork with photographic detail or a wide colour range is printed instead, and can cover the whole front or wrap the garment. Production is 1 to 4 days before it ships.
Pullovers, zips and the weights between them
Pullovers are the bulk of the shelf, and zip and full-zip versions sit alongside them rather than elsewhere — worth knowing, because a zip changes where a chest design can go, and the proof shows that before anything is made.
Fleece-lined styles are the warm ones. Lighter and performance fleece styles have less pile, which is what a stitched mark sits most cleanly on. Raglan and colourblock cuts are shaped differently through the shoulder, and youth and kids sizes are cut to their own proportions rather than scaled down.
The two hooded blankets are the outliers: a hood on a blanket rather than a garment. Sweatshirt styles without a hood are not on this shelf.
Embroidered thread or printed artwork
A compact logo, a name, a crest or a date can be embroidered: thread on fleece carries solid shapes and reads as raised texture. Full-colour artwork, photographs and anything covering a large area is printed.
The honest dividing line is size and colour range. Smaller than a palm and made of solid shapes, stitch it. Larger than that, or carrying photographic detail or a gradient, print it — thread cannot hold a gradient.
Either way, upload one file, or put the text in a note and skip the upload; the emailed proof comes before anything is made.

- Embroider it if the logo is compact and built from solid shapes — stitched thread on fleece carries those well. Print it if the artwork is large, photographic, or uses gradients, because thread cannot hold a gradient. Size and colour range decide it more often than style does.
- Are zip hoodies on this shelf or a different one?
- Here. Zip and full-zip styles sit alongside the pullovers. The difference that matters is placement: a zip runs through the centre front, so a design that would cross it is either split or moved. The proof shows where the artwork lands on the specific style you chose.
- How long does a custom hoodie take to make?

- Can a design go on the hood or down a sleeve of a hoodie?
- On many styles, yes — sleeve and hood placements are offered where the garment allows them, and the proof shows exactly where the artwork sits before anything is made. Where a seam rules a position out, that placement simply is not offered on that product.
- Do youth and kids hoodies use the adult size chart?
