The shelf has two plain desk mats, listed as Desk Mat and Desk Mats, a stitched edge desk mat, and two LED gaming mouse pads, one of them with wireless charging. Every one carries colour that bonds into the surface, so a full photo or pattern can cover the mat from edge to edge. Prices run CA$31.47–CA$42.92 depending on the mat. Upload an image or a logo, or add a note with your text; we design the mat and email you a proof. Nothing is made until you approve that proof. A desk mat is a large print, so start from the biggest version of your photo you have, and keep faces and words away from the spot where the keyboard will sit.
Plain, stitched edge or LED desk mats
The desk mat and desk mats listings are the plain mats: one printed face across the desk for a photo collage, a pattern or a company logo. The stitched edge desk mat finishes its border with stitching, a neat line around the design. - What is the difference between a desk mat and a mouse pad?
- A desk mat is made to sit under the keyboard and the mouse together, and often more of the desk besides; a mouse pad sits under the mouse alone. If the design should show around the keyboard as well, choose a desk mat.
- What does the stitched edge on a desk mat do?
- It finishes the border of the mat with stitching, which frames the design with a neat line all the way round. If a tidy edge matters to you, the stitched edge desk mat is the one on this shelf named for that finish.
- Can a custom desk mat charge my phone?
- One can: the LED gaming mouse pad with wireless charging. Check on its product page that your phone supports wireless charging before choosing it. The plain desk mats and the stitched edge desk mat do not name a charging feature.
- Which photos work on a large desk mat?
- A wide, high-resolution picture: a landscape, a city skyline, a collage or a pattern. A small crop from a phone looks soft once it is stretched across a whole desk, and the middle of the mat disappears under the keyboard, so keep faces and words toward the sides.
