Under the surface it stays practical. The shell and lining are 100% polyester with a water-repellent finish, and 4.4-oz. polyfill insulation sits between them. A molded center front zipper closes over an interior storm flap. You get an interior right chest pocket plus zippered hand pockets, and the hem adjusts with a locking drawcord.
Deep black leads, with shadow grey and dusk blue also offered, in XS through 4XL. Logo placements are the left chest, right chest, left sleeve and right sleeve. A black puffer jacket with a small left chest logo is the classic uniform look, while a sleeve mark keeps the front clean.
