Custom Postcards With Your Photo or Text
Custom postcards carry a holiday photo, a save-the-date, a thank-you or a moving announcement, for a family keeping in touch, a couple sending wedding news or a small shop thanking its buyers, and this page sets the formats side by side.
How personalizing works

Same logo on every piece: order one or many, no minimum.
The fine art postcard is the single card, sold one at a time. The 7-piece matte postcard set and the white 10-pack postcard set cover a run of thank-yous or a holiday mailing. Then there are the postcard bundles, one with envelopes included and one without, depending on whether the cards travel sealed or go out addressed on their own. Prices run € 15,60–€ 36,71 depending on the pack. Upload a photo or a logo and add your words in a note; we design the card and email you a proof. Nothing is printed until you approve it, so names, dates and addresses can be read over one more time before the cards are made.
Single cards, sets and envelope bundles
The fine art postcard suits a single card made to send once or to keep. The 7-piece matte postcard set and the white 10-pack postcard set cover a set of thank-yous or a holiday mailing to close family. The two postcard bundles differ by one thing: the postcard bundle with envelopes included travels sealed, and the plain postcard bundle comes without envelopes. Envelopes keep a message private and the photo covered in the post; without them, the card is addressed and stamped on its own.
For a whole guest list, a club or a company mailing, start from group orders.
Designing a postcard that prints cleanly
Postcards are trimmed after printing, so let a photo or background run past the edge of the template and keep names, dates and addresses inside the safe area. Large, simple lettering reads more clearly across a busy photo than small script. The guide to bleed and safe areas on printed card shows where the trim falls.
Cards and keepsakes that travel with a postcard
For a folded card with room inside for a longer note, custom greeting cards are the neighbouring shelf. Stickers seal an envelope, custom magnets keep a picture on the fridge after the post has gone, a custom calendar carries a year of photos, and custom photo prints put a favourite shot on the wall.
Custom Postcards With Your Photo or Text — common questions
- Should I choose postcard bundles with envelopes or without?
- With envelopes when the card should travel sealed: an invitation, a save-the-date, a private thank-you, or a photo you want covered in the post. Without envelopes when the card is addressed and stamped on its own back, or handed out at a stall, on a wedding table or across a shop counter.
- How do I make a 'Greetings from' postcard?
- Choose a wide photo of the place, upload it, and ask in the note for the words Greetings from with the town's name in large, bold letters across the middle, the style of a vintage travel card. Check the proof to be sure the lettering sits inside the safe area and reads clearly over the photo.
- Should I pick the 7-piece matte postcard set or the white 10-pack?
- Count the people on your list first. The 7-piece matte postcard set covers a short list, such as grandparents and godparents, and the white 10-pack postcard set covers a longer one. For more cards than either set holds, the group orders page linked above is the place to start.
- What is a fine art postcard?
- The single postcard on this shelf, sold one at a time rather than in a set, for a painting, an illustration or a photograph you want to send once or keep as a small print on a shelf or a pinboard.
- Can custom postcards be used as save-the-dates?
- Yes. Put the couple's photo on the card with the names, the date and the town in large type, then choose the bundle with envelopes if the cards travel to guests sealed. Check every date and spelling on the proof, because nothing is printed until you approve it.
