It is made from durable twill fabric (26% cotton, 74% polyester) with a black colour outline around the edge. The back is iron-on, so it sticks in place with heat, and you can also sew it on or secure it with a safety pin if you want to move it later.
Colours are black and white, and the size is 3" x 2". The embroidered side is the front.
