The background runs into the bleed so the card has no white edges after trimming, and your text is kept inside the safe zone so nothing important is cut off. Nothing is set smaller than 7pt. That floor applies to every line, including fine print such as a cancellation policy or a licence number, because smaller text tends to blur or fill in once printed on card stock. If a line would come out smaller than that, it is raised to 7pt in your file.
Yes. Choose the QR code option and paste the link it should open, and a scannable code is placed in its own layer in the lower corner of the side that carries it. If you already have a QR code from another tool, choose the empty-space option instead: the corner is kept clear and marked with a placeholder layer, ready for your own code.
Both. Choose front only for a single-sided card, or front and back to design both. When you choose both, the back is designed in the same colours and typefaces as the front so the card reads as one piece. A back side is a good home for an address, appointment lines, opening hours or a short note in fine print.
